Suspension-Gate? The New Big Technical Row for F1
It looks as though a row over ‘loaded suspension’ systems could become the first off-track battle ground of the season as teams and the FIA have failed to reach an agreement over what should and shouldn’t be allowed. This means that Race Director Charlie Whiting will issue a technical directive for the first test setting clear his interpretation of the rules, however this is not a binding rule leaving teams to decide if its worth tempting fate and risking being hauled before the stewards in Australia. With the first tests less than two weeks away it leaves the teams in an interesting predicament not knowing which way to develop.
