The drives with * are yet to be confirmed but the likelyhood is that Maldonado will sign for Lotus this week who can no longer wait for the money they’ve been promised by their potential investor. This will leave Hulkenburg and Perez as an all new for 2014 Force India line up.
It is quite a normality to wait for Caterham and Marussia to confirm their line up’s. Max Chilton could get another year if his father is willing to pay the £ needed, he will need a stronger showing against his team mate in 14 to get a chance in 15.
Caterham are likely to choose Kovalainen as they need the experienced hand for development of the difficult 14 formula and quit possible Van Der Garde could stay if his sponsorship continues.
On the face of it, it looks like we could be saying goodbye to Paul Di Resta and Charles Pic with no where really for them to go for 2014. Di Resta has options in Indycar which may well be his only option for next year.
