MCLAREN take the wraps of their 2014 car!

McLaren today unveiled their new car via an on-line launch. The car has a simple silver livery and seems extremely bare in terms of sponsorship logo’s due to no title sponsor being announced. The MP4-29 also features the ‘finger’ nose as seen on the Williams.

This is the car that McLaren are pinning there hopes on returning to the front after a disaster that was the 2013 season in which they scored 0 podiums. In the last few weeks Ron Dennis (McLaren chairman has taken back control of the McLaren board and has promised to make changes to improve the competitiveness of the team. The biggest of these seems to be replacing Martin Whitmarsh as Team Principal. The most likely candidate is now Eric Boullier who announced his departure from Lotus this morning.
